Now, as far as the decorated ostrich eggs--that's a new project this year. I usually do chicken eggs and peacock eggs and duck eggs. Ostrich eggs are a completely new ballgame |

Did you know there is about a quart of stuff inside one of those? They actually blow out easier than a chicken egg, because you can make such a big hole in them. Yes, I actually use a drill to do it. You should have seen me and my Dad trying to figure out how to do that one day |

He was holding it while I drilled. I tried not to break it and cover us both in
goo. I've not broken one yet--And I've cooked them and drilled them and sanded
them and scratched them and painted them. I have not thrown one down or stomped
one, but I have given them a pretty good workout. |
