The firework pictures were taken at the 4-T rodeo this year 2007.
I think they look like sea anemone or flowers. If you know they are firework, they are obvious,
but if you saw them individually you might not have any idea what they are. They came about by accident: I set my camera on the nighttime setting. It keeps the apertures open until it gathers enough light to make an image. So, when I heard the boom of one being set off, I would push the button and then wait. If it ignited in front of the lenses, I got a really cool picture, If not I got a nice black screen. I took about 250 photos that night. These are some of the ones I liked best:
